A full portrait or headshot session lasts about an hour and a half. This allows for outfit changes and different lighting setups, and more importantly, time for you to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Whether it's a professional headshot for actors, promotional photos for musicians, creative portraits for adults or teens, senior yearbook photos, or just pictures for social media, the goal is the same: An image that captures the subject's personality, makes the right impression, and has a genuine connection with the viewer. To do this we will shoot well over 100 images, just to give us options.

I specialize in simple, tried and true lighting setups, using white, black or gray backgrounds in the studio, or using blurred out of focus backgrounds when shooting on location. Have an interesting idea for a portrait? I am always up for a challenge.

As we work together, I will offer you direction in terms of your posture, how to shift your weight, where to place your hands, and which direction to look. We'll see immediate feedback with each image, and narrow down on the right look. My goal is to make you look your best.

About 3-4 days after the shoot, I will send you a proof sheet that has a preview of the best 8 to 10 images. From these, you can select 4-5 images that will then be retouched if necessary. Once that is done, I will make these available for download, for printing, or put them on a disc for you.

If this interests you, why don't you contact me today with your ideas and your availability. I can't wait to hear from you. (414) 520-7243
