Quest Graphics Website

Quest Graphics Website

Late 2013 I proposed a website redesign to Troy, the owner of Quest Graphics in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They were suffering from one of the worst websites I had ever seen. Template-based, all the text existed as graphics, poor navigation, etc.

It was also not being updated, and had out of date information. I don’t think they were getting any new business from it, and quite possibly were losing business because of it.

I proposed a design that would humanize the company, show the employees at work, and communicate to the public just how much expertise their company represented. I started with some on-site photography, shooting their office and production area, members of their staff, some of the many machines they have for printing on a large scale.

We ended up also doing promotional photography, to showcase some of the items they were capable of printing on, the scale of their facilities, and to put faces to the workers and owners. We may be adding video in the future.

In addition to communicating information about their capabilities, I also created two forms for their clients to use to submit a project for a quote, and to reorder using an existing ticket. I then did a search engine optimization and have since made numerous updates to the site. I am looking forward to the next phase, when we add video interviews with the owner and start marketing their site on social media.
